Gabriel Cordova was born in New York and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. After completing a B.S. in International Law and Politics cum laude from Georgetown and Oxford he went on to graduate work in Psychology at Cornell University. He later completed two separate Masters’ in Translation and Conference Interpretation respectively.
In 2007 Gabriel was accredited by the United Nations as an English booth interpreter. A year later the European Union followed suit. During that period he also worked as a TA in the Conference Interpreting Department of the University of Geneva (ETI, now FTI). Since then he has worked as a freelance interpreter and conference organizer, joining AIIC in 2014.
